It may seem as if a holiday home or moving abroad is an opportunity for the privileged few. This is not the case. There are schemes that offer up properties for sale for a 1 euro or less in Countries such as Italy, Croatia and even Switzerland.

However remember to do your homework, your desired location comes with certain terms and conditions, which may require you to live in the desired country for so many years or fit into a certain age group etc so it's important that you be aware of these.
